8 January 2025 5:14 pmBack in 2016, after a number of requests from Hi-Fi retailers for such a service, we launched a marketplace for used, ex-demo and other pre-loved Hi-Fi equipment - iDreamAV. It's been a huge success!
iDreamAV is a bit different to other marketplaces. For starters, it only offers Hi-Fi and home cinema products, nothing else, so it's focused. Secondly, all sellers are full time AV retail businesses so buyers can be assured of first rate service. Thirdly, it's run by Presto! You may already know this, but we've been involved in the audio / video business since the late 1980s so we know exactly what both customers and retailers need!
For a modest subscription, retailers can list a limitless number of items and receive enquiries from interested customers directly. Customers can either call the retailer from the phone number listed in the advert, or fill in a simple enquiry form. All enquiries are logged, so the retailer can keep track, and all items listed can be edited at any time, or turned on and off if their status changes.
