Presto MD Geoff Meads has been awarded CEDIA's 'Volunteer Of The Year' for 2019. Each year CEDIA recognise three volunteers for their contributions to the furthering of the industry and Geoff is thrilled to have received this year's overall Volunteer Of The Year award.
Many will know that Geoff is a regular teacher for CEDIA but he has, for many years, also contributed to CEDIA's wider education program and technical body of knowledge. He was an active member of the Professional Development Advisory Council for five years and of the Certification Working group. However, it's for his work as a judge on the CEDIA Awards for the last ten years that he is perhaps best known.
Presentations for the awards, including Education Volunteer Of The Year Jamie Briesemeister and New Volunteer Of The Year Michael Robinson will be made during CEDIA Expo in Denver in two weeks time.
